For investigating Taiwanese public opinion, especially the Taiwanese public’s democratic value and their perception of social justice, Taiwan Foundation for Democracy has consistently conducted public opinion survey since 2012. For fully utilizing these survey data, TFD co-hosted the “Democratic Participation and Social Justice” panel with the Taiwanese Political Science Association at its Annual Conference on November 12, 2017 and invited scholars to present their research papers by using the survey data “Democratic Participation in Taiwan, 2016” and “The Evaluation of Social Justice in Taiwan, 2017”. In this panel, Dr. Chang-ling Huang from Department of Political Science, NTU served as panel moderator. Mr. Wen-zheng Lin from Department of Political Science, NCCU, Dr. Yen-hsin Cheng, and Dr. Thung- hong Lin from Institution of Sociology, Dr. Kuang-hui Chen from Department of Political Science, CCU, Dr. Chia-hung Tsai and Dr. Pei-ting Lin from, Election Study Center, NCCU presented their research papers and share their findings with audience.
