Seminar by Ms. Veronica Mae Yan Democracy and Human Rights Fellow of TFDPrint

The Taiwan Foundation for Democracy hosted a seminar for Ms. Veronica Mae Yan Democracy and Human Rights Fellow of TFD, 14-16 on 13 June, 2019 at the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy.
Ms. Yan delivered a presentation entitled” The Role of the New Generation in Building a Democracy: Child and Youth Participation in Taiwan in light of its Commitment to uphold the Provisions of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child” and was moderated by Ms. Ta-Hua Ye, General Secretary of Taiwan Alliance for Advancement of Youth Rights and Welfare. Ms. Yi-Chen (Ethan) Hsiao, Research Coordinator of Youth Synergy Taiwan Foundation, was invited as the seminar's discussant.

2. Ms. Ta-Hua Ye, General Secretary of Taiwan Alliance for Advancement of Youth Rights and Welfare, was invited as the seminar's moderator to give opening remarks and lead everyone into a meaningful discussion. |
3. The seminar's discussant was Ms. Yi-Chen (Ethan) Hsiao, Research Coordinator of Youth Synergy Taiwan Foundation. She shared her work experience with everyone and give the great feedback to the speaker. |
